Summer Camp 2008

Always putting the Choir first, here a couple of boys spend their free time practicing the gestures for our "I'm a Little Teapot" medley.

Campfires help us prepare for the next evening meal... Smoked Chorister.

Craft time brings out the cheesy smiles in us.  See below for the finished beauties.

Rehearsals in the bunk rooms aren't bad during summer - until about the 5th day (Phew!)

If we can turn a few sticks and a little glue into these, we can do anything!

Alas, the poor piņata finds its final, traditional resting place - in the ashes of our last camp fire.

The gallery faded to a hush as the would-be champ wound up for a crucial serve.  (Hush? Yeah, right.  Not THIS group.)

Apparently the water was super chlorinated because some of the boys developed strange permanents and lost a few of the fingers.

Camp wouldn't be camp without a hotly competed game of Capture-the-Flag.

Chaperone - "Hey, you.  Tall guy with American flag draped around you."  Choristers all at once - "Who, me?"

Outside campfires are great, but when the weather drives us inside, it's a special time, as well.

Here, one of the boys gets fitted for his costume for our special Las Vegas Revue number.

And camp is not camp without lots of practice...

... and practice.

We love a party!  So on these three boys' special day, we wished them yaD htriB yppaH.

Actually, this IS their best side!
