| William R. Adams -
Artistic Director & Founder |
William R.
Adams founded the Fort Bend Boys Choir in 1982 with only 45 initial members. The
organization has now grown into five performing ensembles with over 200 choristers. His
many years of experience include working with a number of both adult and children's
choirs, including The Singing Boys of Houston and The Phoenix Boys Choir. Having toured
extensively both in the U.S. and abroad, he has been a guest conductor of the Vienna Boys
Choir and the Vienna Chamber Orchestra. He personally directs the
Tour and Cantabile Choirs. Mr. Adams received his Bachelor of Arts degree
with a dual major in psychology and vocal performance from Northern Arizona University and
a Master of Arts degree in psychology from Arizona State University. He is actively sought
as a festival clinician, camp director and adjudicator for various children's choirs
throughout Texas and the nation. Mr. Adams has also directed the sanctuary choirs and the
music ministries at two Houston-area churches, serving frequently as a soloist himself.
His choral accomplishments include performances with the San Francisco Opera Company,
Houston Grand Opera and the Nova Chamber Singers in Houston.
Mr. Adams professional affiliations include: Texas Music Educators Association, Texas
Choral Directors Association, American Choral Directors Association, Choristers Guild, The
Royal School of Church Music and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia music fraternity. He is the former
Southwestern Division Chair of the American Choral Directors Association Repertoire and
Standards Committee for Boychoirs. |

Tiana
Mortimer - Executive Director
Tiana Mortimer received a Bachelor of Business
Administration degree in Operations Management and Marketing from the University of
Houston. She joined the organization in June 1999 after several years as Office Manager
and Project Specialist in the environmental consulting field. She brings extensive
organizational skills and experience in management and marketing. She is the proud mother
of two sons, Bryce and Declan, who may be future choirboys. |

Stephanie Wilson - Administrator
Stephanie
Wilson has traveled extensively throughout the world with her husband's
military career. Raised in West Central Louisiana, she has lived in
Germany, Virginia, Georgia and Texas. She has previously worked as a
preschool teacher, a church receptionist/secretary and a high school
principal’s administrative assistant. She is a licensed Notary Public
in the state of Texas. She is blessed with three children, Eva, Stephen
and Teddy, and is married to Lt. Colonel (Ret.) John Wilson.

Matthew Robinson- Town Choir Director
Matt Robinson received his Bachelor of Music
Education degree from Henderson State University in Arkansas and his
Master of Music degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. He
is currently the Director of Music and Fine Arts at the First United
Methodist Church of Missouri City where he heads a multi-faceted music
program including choirs, praise band, handbells and a yearly concert
series. |

Janice Vanegas – Director, Training
Choir Janice
Vanegas graduated with Honors from the University of Montana with a
Bachelor of Music Education degree. She completed her Kodaly
Certification at the University of Houston. Ms. Vanegas has been an
Elementary Music Specialist in Alief ISD for twenty-four years, and
currently teaches at Rees Elementary in Alief. She is an accomplished
pianist and regularly plays at St. Justin Martyr Church as well as
Solo and Ensemble UIL contests. Her professional affiliations include
Texas Music Education, Alief Education Association and Texas State
Teachers Association.

Sara Ward -
Director, Music Magic
Accompanist, Tour Choir
Sara Ward in her
eighteenth season as accompanist for the Tour Choir, holds a Bachelor of
Arts degree in Piano Performance from Houston Baptist University and is
the music specialist for Klenzman Intermediate School in Alief ISD. A
native Houstonian, she also teaches private piano.
Ms. Ward has been an
accompanist for South Main Baptist Church and directed their women’s
ensemble – AGAPE. Her son John, who won the Outstanding Choirboy Award
for 1990, is a choir alumnus and is now a medical doctor. Ms. Ward also
directs our Music Magic program for six and seven year old boys. |

Jason Ritchie - Accompanist, Town
Choir
Jason
is a choir alumnus turned music professional. He will start his second
year teaching elementary music education at Griffin Elementary in Katy
ISD after having taught Kindergarten through fourth grade in Alief ISD.
He graduated summa cum laude from Moore’s School of Music at the
University of Houston with a Bachelor of Music Education degree with a
concentration in piano. During his college career, Jason was a member
of Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society, Golden Key International Honor
Society, National Society of Collegiate Scholars and Pi Kappa Lambda
National Music Honor Society. He also is a member of Cantabilé, our
alumni choir. |

Kathy Aaron
- Accompanist, Training Choir
Kathy
Aaron holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano from Mansfield
University in Pennsylvania. As a music specialist for Alief ISD the
past eight years, Mrs. Aaron currently is teaching keyboard to 7th
and 8th graders at Killough Middle School in Alief ISD. Mrs.
Aaron has accompanied numerous student UIL solos and was church pianist
and worship leader at Langham Creek Evangelical Friends Church for 14
years. Her son, James, is a Tour choirboy who is starting his sixth
year with the organization.
