Wedding Frequently Asked Questions
When are the choirboys available to perform?
The Tour Choir, one of our three treble choirs, performs for all booked
weddings. Their availability is during our normal performance season
which is late August through early June.
What about music selections?
At any given time, the Tour Choir has approximately 8-10 selections of
music that are appropriate for weddings. Once the choir is booked and a
deposit is received to secure the date, an appointment can be made to
sit in on a choir rehearsal to select music most appropriate for your
wedding. *Please note: We travel with our own
piano accompanist for performances, so an acoustic piano (nothing
electric) is required.

How about collaborations with other musicians such as string quartets,
harpists, or brass ensembles?
The Tour Choir has experience performing with various other musical
groups and works with them frequently.
How many boys are in the choir? How old are they?
There are approximately 32 boys with unchanged voices at
any given time in the Tour Choir and their ages range from 10 – 13 years
of age.
What is the performance attire for the Tour Choir?
The boys wear black dress shoes, khaki pants, black
belts, white dress shirts, blue blazers and red/navy striped ties, as
pictured above.
How many years of experience does the choir have?
For many years, the Tour Choir has performed for weddings. During the
last 3 years alone, they have performed for over 75 weddings in the
Houston area! The choir also performs for church concert series, church
services, private business functions, commercials and fundraisers. The
organization, made up of almost 200 boys, is in its twenty-sixth
season.
